Below is a Shīʿī doctrinal refutation of the claims made in the Yamani/Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light video, using Qurʾān, Ahl al-Bayt (ع) narrations, and established Imāmī theology.
Refutation of the “Seventh Covenant” & Abandonment of Islamic Law
A Shīʿī Response to the Yamani / Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light
1. The Finality of Islam & No New Sharīʿah After the Prophet ﷺ
The video claims that a “seventh covenant” has appeared with new laws, worship, and a new book, allegedly brought by “Qāʾim ʿAbdullāh Hāshim”.
This directly contradicts Qurʾān and Shīʿī creed.
Qurʾān: Finality of Prophethood
“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets.”
(Qurʾān 33:40)
No new covenant, prophet, or divine law can come after him.
Shīʿī Hadith
Imām al-Ṣādiq (ع) said:
“The lawful of Muhammad is lawful until the Day of Judgment, and his unlawful is unlawful until the Day of Judgment.”
(Al-Kāfī, vol. 1, p. 58)
The Mahdī (عج) does not bring new laws. He revives the Qurʾān and the Sunnah.
2. The Mahdī (عج) Does NOT Abolish Prayer, Fasting, or Hijab
The video claims that when the “Messiah” is present, he becomes the prayer and fasting, so rituals are no longer needed.
This is Christian theology, not Islam.
Qurʾān: Worship Is Permanent
“Worship your Lord until death comes to you.”
(Qurʾān 15:99)
No human being replaces worship.
The Mahdī Will Enforce Sharīʿah
Imām al-Bāqir (ع) said:
“He will judge by the law of David and the family of David.”
(Bihār al-Anwār, vol. 52, p. 339)
Meaning: with divine justice, not with a new religion.
3. False Use of Jesus (ع) to Justify Abandoning Law
The video says Jesus (ع) cancelled fasting and Sabbath.
This is a Biblical misinterpretation and irrelevant to Islamic law.
Qurʾān: Jesus Followed the Law
“I have come to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden.”
(Qurʾān 3:50)
He modified, not abolished, divine law.
He did not remove worship.
Islam is a separate, final covenant.
4. New Laws After the Prophet ﷺ = Innovation (Bidʿah)
Any claim of:
• New book
• New prayer
• New fasting
• New jurisprudence
• New covenant
Is heresy in Shīʿī Islam.
Imām ʿAlī (ع) said:
“No innovation appears except that a Sunnah is abandoned.”
(Nahj al-Balāghah, Sermon 164)
The Yamani movement abandons:
• Ṣalāh
• Ṣawm
• Ḥijāb
• Sharīʿah
• Qurʾānic law
This proves it is not divine.
5. Obedience to a Claimant ≠ Obedience to Allah
The video says:
“Whoever obeys him succeeds, whoever disobeys him fails – even if they worship.”
This is cult logic, not Islam.
Qurʾān:
“Obey Allah, the Messenger, and those in authority among you.”
(Qurʾān 4:59)
Obedience is conditional upon Qurʾān & Sunnah.
Imām al-Ṣādiq (ع):
“There is no obedience to a creation in disobedience to the Creator.”
(Al-Kāfī, vol. 5)
Any leader who abolishes Allah’s commands is false.
6. Misuse of Prophet Dāwūd (ع) Story
The video claims David broke the law by eating consecrated bread.
In Islam:
Prophets do not commit sins
Necessity allows exceptions
No law was abolished
This does not justify removing prayer or fasting.
7. The Mahdī (عج) Will Revive Islam – Not Replace It
Authentic Shīʿī narrations say:
“He will revive what the people have killed from the truth.”
(Bihār al-Anwār, vol. 52)
Not:
• A new Qurʾān
• A new religion
• A new Sharīʿah
• A new prophet
8. “Religion is Mercy, Not Rituals” – False Dichotomy
Islam never separated mercy from law.
Prayer, fasting, and hijab are means of mercy.
“Prayer prevents immorality and evil.”
(Qurʾān 29:45)
Removing worship increases corruption, not mercy.
9. Signs of a False Messianic Cult
The Yamani movement shows classic false-messiah traits:
| Trait | Islam | Yamani Claim |
|---|---|---|
| Finality of Islam | Yes | No |
| Sharīʿah preserved | Yes | Abolished |
| Qurʾān unchanged | Yes | New book |
| Mahdī follows Sunnah | Yes | Replaces it |
| Obedience to Allah | Yes | Obedience to leader |
| Hijab & prayer | Obligatory | Removed |
Conclusion: This Movement Is Not Shīʿī, Not Islamic
From a Shīʿī perspective, this ideology:
• Contradicts Qurʾān
• Rejects Imams’ teachings
• Abandons Sharīʿah
• Claims new revelation
• Promotes cult obedience
Therefore, it is a deviant sect, not a continuation of Islam.
Short Refutation Summary (For Sharing)
Islam is the final covenant.
The Mahdī revives Islam, he does not replace it.
Prayer, fasting, and hijab are eternal obligations.
Any claimant who abolishes them is false.
