Imam Mahdi went into occultation to protect his life because:

The Abbasid rulers wanted to kill him

Allah hid him until the right time.
3. Two Periods of Occultation
The occultation happened in two stages:
Minor Occultation (874–941 CE)

4. Signs of Imam Mahdi’s Reappearance
Before Imam Mahdi appears, many signs will happen, such as:

“He will fill the Earth with justice as it was filled with oppression.”
6. Role of Shia Muslims During Occultation
Shia Muslims should:

Follow the Qur’an and Ahlulbayt

Obey qualified scholars

Stay away from false claimants

Prepare spiritually for Imam Mahdi

Pray for his appearance
7. False Mahdi Claimants

Mislead Muslims

Change Islamic laws

Divide the Ummah
True Mahdi will never change Qur’an or Sharia.
8. Imam Mahdi Will Not Bring a New Religion

Any group claiming “new laws” is false.
